Articles for Publication
Lenzie.org.uk is happy to accept articles for publication (subject to conditions below) and will normally publish suitable material.
- Please supply: (preferably by email which you can obtain by contacting us)
- A covering note confirming it is your own original work (from a parent or guardian in the case of a juvenile).
- A copy of the text – please check spelling.
- Copies of images with a brief description such as "Lenzie Gala Parade".
These must be your own pictures/artwork or you must confirm that the owner has given permission to allow us to publish them.
It is particularly important that these are not simply copied from the web. - Please tell us the name to give for the author(s). (We recommend only using first names for children).
- If you wish us to include contact details you must clearly tell us which contact details to publish. Remember email addresses published on the internet will get SPAM.
- Guidelines
- Subject: Articles are welcomed on any subject, but preference will be given to articles about l ocal information, events, issues or organisation or to literary work (poems, stories) by local authors.
- Article length - is not as important as quality. A child's article may need only 30 words, whereas a more lengthy topic may need over 1000 words.
- Images: We prefer to have full size copies of images as weel as images at publication size. This is because it allows us to slightly alter the size without a severe fuzziness on the picture. We prefer images in a .png, .jpg, .bmp or .gif file format, contact us for other formats such as videos.
- Font styles: we normally apply our own style which is: "Arial, Helvetica or sans–serif".
- Terms & conditions (legal stuff)

This license may be revoked by you upon notification that the published work contains substantial specified errors as of the date of the original submission;
- to remove from publication: We may remove the article at any time without notice;
- to make editorial changes: We may make editorial changes: to shorten; to add material including images or links, and to make changes to improve readability. (Our aim, however, is to agree substantial changes and make any reasonable changes after publication.)
