Customising the map.
- Click HERE
to activate a map with the special draggable cross icon.

- Move the icon to the desired position and the http address will appear.
- Copy the address at the top to your web browser, check it, and then save it as one of your favourites. Good luck!
Advanced customisation.
The web address will be of the form:
http://www.lenzie.org.uk/map.php?lat=55.9218&long=-4.1601&icn=1&sc=1
Latitude & Longitude
The position at the centre of the map is given by "lat=55.9218" which sets the latitude and
"long=-4.1601" which sets the longitude. However, the map only works for places near Lenzie!
Changing the icon
the default setting of "icn=1" displays a cross; "icn=0" displays no icon,
"icn=2" is a pin, & setting "icn=3" displays a house!
Scaling
The setting "sc=1", "sc=2" magnify the map, "sc=0" makes it normal & "sc=-1", etc. compress the scale!
Adding Text
To add txt add &txt=this is some text to the end of the address
http://www.lenzie.org.uk/map.php?lat=55.9218&long=-4.1601&icn=3&sc=1&txt=This is a house!
