Traffic Scotland - Current Incidents
M74 J1 Seaward Street - Closure The M74 southbound slip to Paisley road is currently closed due to an earlier building fire.
A890 Stromeferry - Closure The A890 remains closed in both directions at Strome ferry due to a land slide. The Local Council are advising that the road is scheduled to reopen, with restrictions, around 17th February although this date is subject to change. The advised diversion is via Inverness. Unfortunately this involves a journey of approximately 140 miles. The diversion route is signposted along its length.
A9 Kessock Bridge - High winds Road users are advised to use caution crossing the A9 Kessock Bridge due to high winds currently affecting driving conditions.
Dumfries and Galloway - Snow Dumfries and Galloway Police advise motorists to drive with caution and to slow down due to snow affecting driving conditions on many road throughout the region.
A74(M) J14 - J15 - Snow Dumfries and Galloway Police advise motorist using the A74(M), particularly between J14 and J15 to exercise caution and to slow down due to snow affecting driving conditions. There have been a number of accidents in the area already today.
A83 B828 - A815 - Hazard Increased risk of landslide, drivers and road users must exercise extreme caution when travelling along the road.
A75 Newton Stewart - Glenluce (A747) - Accident Motorists are advised to approach the A75 at Kirkcowan with extra caution. At present temporary traffic lights are in operation in both directions following an earlier road traffic incident. Traffic will be controlled until recovery has been carried out.
A1 A6093 Haddington - Thistly Cross - High winds All lanes restricted in both directions indefinitely
M80 J7 (Haggs) - J8 (Banknock M876) - Hazard Motorists are advised to exercise caution and to slow down due to debris on all 3 lanes after an earlier accident.
